Our commitment: gambling is entertainment, not income
Gambling should be a form of entertainment, not a way to make money or to deal with financial pressure. Most people who play with us stake small amounts within a budget they have decided in advance, and we want that to stay true for everyone who holds an account with us.
Before you deposit, decide how much you are willing to lose and treat that figure as the price of the entertainment, in the same way you would treat a cinema ticket or a meal out. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose. Never gamble with money set aside for rent, bills, food or debt repayments, and never with borrowed funds.
- We give every customer free tools to cap spending, limit time and take a break, and we never ask why you have used one.
- We do not encourage you to deposit more after a loss, and we do not send promotional messages to customers who have excluded themselves or asked us to stop.
- We train our support team to spot signs of harm, and we may contact you, limit your account or close it if we are concerned about your play.
18+ only
Our games are for adults aged 18 or over. Underage gambling is an offence, and any winnings from underage play are void.
The tools in your account and how to switch them on
Every account includes a set of safer gambling tools. They are free, you can use as many of them as you wish, and setting one does not affect your right to withdraw a balance. You will find them together in the safer gambling area of your account, and our live chat team can walk you through them if you would prefer help.
| Tool | What it does | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit limit | Caps how much you can deposit in a day, week or month. | A lower limit applies straight away; an increase takes effect only after the cooling-off period shown in your account. |
| Loss limit | Caps how much you can lose over a chosen period. | Play pauses once the limit is reached and resumes when the period resets. |
| Session limit | Limits how long a single session can last. | You are signed out when the time you chose runs out. |
| Reality check | Shows an on-screen reminder of how long you have been playing. | You choose how often it appears and can end play from the reminder itself. |
| Time-out | Closes your account to play for a short break. | Choose from the periods offered in your account. A time-out cannot be lifted early. |
| Self-exclusion | Closes your account to play for a longer fixed period. | Marketing stops, the exclusion cannot be reversed before it ends, and the account is not reopened automatically. |
Switching a tool on
- Sign in and open the safer gambling section of your account.
- Choose the tool you want and the period it should cover.
- Enter the amount or the length of time you are comfortable with, then confirm.
- Check the summary in your account; the limits shown there are the ones in force.
- If you cannot find a setting, use live chat or e-mail support@casinovegaswild.co.uk and we will set it up with you.
Changing a limit or taking a longer break
You can tighten a limit at any time and the change is immediate. Requests to loosen a limit are held for the cooling-off period set out in your account, so that the decision is never made in the middle of a session. Time-outs and self-exclusions run for the full period you choose and cannot be shortened by us, by our support team or by you. If you want a break that covers every operator licensed to offer online gambling in Great Britain, register with GamStop rather than excluding brand by brand.
Not sure where to start?
A monthly deposit limit is the simplest control: set it to an amount you would be comfortable losing in full, and you never have to make the decision again in the moment.
Signs that gambling may be becoming a problem
Gambling-related harm usually builds gradually, and the change is easier for other people to notice than for the person affected. Go through the list below honestly.
- You are spending more money, or playing more often, than you planned to.
- You deposit again straight after a loss in order to win it back.
- You gamble to escape stress, boredom, loneliness or low mood.
- You borrow money, sell belongings or use funds meant for bills in order to play.
- You hide how much time or money you spend from people close to you.
- Work, study, sleep, family or friendships are suffering because of your play.
- You have tried to cut down or stop and found that you could not.
- Someone close to you has raised concerns about your gambling.
If more than one of these sounds familiar, set a limit or start a time-out today and speak to one of the organisations below. Support is free, confidential and available whether or not you think your gambling has reached a crisis point.
Where to get free, confidential help
These UK organisations are independent of us and can help you, or someone you are worried about, at any stage.
- GambleAware - a charity that provides clear information about gambling harm and can direct you to free treatment and advice services across Great Britain.
- GamCare - offers free counselling, group sessions and one-to-one support for anyone affected by gambling, including partners, family and friends, and runs the National Gambling Helpline.
- GamStop - the free national online self-exclusion scheme: once you register, operators licensed to offer online gambling in Great Britain must stop you opening or using an account for the period you choose.
- The National Gambling Helpline - staffed by trained advisers who will talk through your situation in confidence and arrange further support, with no judgement and no cost.
Your GP can also refer you to local treatment, free debt advice services can help you deal with money worries, and most banks allow you to block gambling payments from your card. Tell us if you would like us to apply a time-out while you arrange support.
Protecting children and other people in your home
Access to our games is restricted to adults aged 18 or over. We hold a gaming licence and verify the identity and age of every customer, so we may ask for documents before you deposit, play or withdraw, and we may suspend an account until those checks are complete.
- Keep your log-in details private and never allow anyone else to use your account.
- Sign out fully on shared devices and turn off any option that saves your password.
- Install parental control or filtering software on devices children can reach; most packages can block gambling sites and apps.
- Keep payment cards out of reach and avoid letting children watch you play.
If you believe a person under 18 has used your account, contact us straight away and we will look into it, close the account where necessary and void any winnings from underage play.
